New group gatherings have started around the country one is ‘Laughter’ medicine. Camp Quality, the Australian fun escape for kids with cancer which marks its 30th anniversary this year. You do not have to visit Australia make your own laughter!
It is well-known that laughter is the best medicine it is contagious more than a cough or a sniffle! Research has supported this a study years ago in NM studied folks who have had heart events versus those who have not had an event -have a read of this study.
Scientists have shown with laughter the brain chemicals – endorphins – known for their ‘ feel-good effect’. Check out this NYT article.
