Dr. Handal: You incorrectly stated in your podcast that nurse practitioners have a minimum of four years of education. The correct answer is six years of education: a four year Bachelor of Science in Nursing, plus and additional two year Master of Science in Nursing. Also, in 18 states, nurse practitioners require no physician supervision. Thank you for the opportunity to clarify this for your listeners.
