Physician Assistants are NOT Doctors not physicians! Therefore they are not titled nor addressed as “doctor”. All healthcare providers are not equal. You should be interested in the degree of education and what expertise the person caring for your health has. Your life may depend on it! You should know what are the credentials of your health care provider and what training is required to get them. Let DocHandal bluntly but honestly explain the training physician ‘assistants’ have and their role in your health care team.
